Don't Like What You See?

Some ITSers have commented that they are not able to see their post upfront on their blog or that their comments are not viewed in the same way as in other blogs. Dave G. from Loudoun discovered that this is a layout issue and suggests that you revisit the templates and look at them closely in terms of how each presents the main blog posts and how comments are handled.

A feature that has been used in some of the blogs is one that allows the Blogger to approve comments before they are published. For those of you using this feature, what do you think about your choice to enable this feature?

Yes, I noticed that when I pulled up Lyndsie's blog...The blog itself was not there...but when I clicked on the comments it brought up a new window and the blog was there along with the comments. I was just going to add a link to Lyndsie's name but I guess you can not do that in the comment section. Or can you??

Yes, I experienced the same situation when visiting Sherry's and Lyndsie's page. It had to do with the color of the background and the text settings that made it hard for me to view and read. They both have the pretty pink template that I was going to change to..but having second thoughts,...I think I would have to switch around the color pallette a bit in the settings to make sure the text font color was dark on hte light background.
I also was taken aback when I commented on 1 blog, but was told it would not post until the owner approved it... they did, but it was unsettling for me...not really sure why though...I guess I wouldn't want something innappropriate connected with my blog, and it would be a very good thing to have turned on for a classroom blog.
